This handmade Martha Washington ornament is one of the unique products of St. Nicolas, a British company which has worked with a small Christian charity in Thailand or India for 25 years helping disadvantaged rural women work in their own community by sewing decorations at home. The ornament is inspired by Gilbert Stuart's portrait of Martha Washington. Lady Washington is dressed in an off-white brocade dress with gold trim. The ornament, with gold hanging thread, measures 6 ½".
